Hello music lovers! Man’s Ruin are goin on tour this November and December.  We are only doing 4 shows – Broughty Ferry, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and of course Glasgow.  Hamish Napier has flown away on a wild adventure of music hunting in the USA.  He’ll be studying for about a year in Boston so we have been reforming ranks for 2011/12 and reshuggling the sets in order to conduct the electricity of  Adam Sutherland (croft no. 5 + Peatbog Faeries etc) on fiddle and vocals for the entire tour and dates next year (tba) which is AWESOME! 

Each show will feature different supporting artists hand-picked by Man’s Ruin - It’s never the same twice!  Check out the info below and decide which of these dates your are MOST keen on…

Hello folky funksicles, Man’s Ruin are going into the studio this June to record an album!  Recording will be taking place in Glasgow under the watchful eyes and ears of Spad (Barry Reid)!!!! – We’re going to lay it down live and filthy! – come back soon for sneaky peaks of us making a racket in the studio courtesy of Somhairle MacDonald.

Keep your eyes posted, we plan to give away one free track long before the official release…as long as you join our frikkin’ mailing list!

…May also be some photos and a short documentary on our trials and tribulations in the studio.  Can’t Wait!

Great gig in the Ivy, thanks to everyone for coming along!  We really enjoyed the set by Iain Thomson and Laura Beth Salter, great songs!  The food is really nice in the Ivy Bar if anyone is ever in that part of town…they also do a mean version of tequila slammers that I’ve never seen anywhere else.
